Hung out with Timothy Brownie and The Jellyfish Brothers at Jolt this weekend.
Javier Maggiolo of the Miami Music Movement, shot by me for thejamgarden.com
Check out the interview here.
Who’ll shoot the shooter? Steve Vaynshtock, the handsome and talented lad behind AbdeCaf.
Plains, shot by me for The Jam Garden. These guys are amazing, check out their video for “Black Feeling” and catch them at SXSW this year if you’re going.
John Caignet, the man behind Jolt Radio. John was a pleasure to shoot and just about the warmest guy I’ve ever met. Him and the whole crew down there made Annie and I feel like old friends. Check out the interview here.
The obvious thing to do with Beach Day would have been to take them to the beach. I wanted to poke a bit of fun at that and decided to create my own low-fi beach set. It took some effort, but I like the way it turned out.

Check out my girlfriend’s new food/music blog if you’re from Miami and dig those things. She interviewed Bitchin’ Kitchen’s Nadia G. last week and I’m a little jealous.
The Fruit and Spice Park is a real gem. We were privy to a private tour from a guide with 38 years of experience and a delicious smorgasboard of exotic fruit and lobster rolls at the Mango Café afterward. The whole experience was fun and educational and I’m lucky to have such a great public park in my community. Definitely check it out if you find yourself around Redland.
