John Caignet, the man behind Jolt Radio. John was a pleasure to shoot and just about the warmest guy I’ve ever met. Him and the whole crew down there made Annie and I feel like old friends. Check out the interview here.

The obvious thing to do with Beach Day would have been to take them to the beach. I wanted to poke a bit of fun at that and decided to create my own low-fi beach set. It took some effort, but I like the way it turned out.

I didn’t have time to light this the way I wanted between the threat of rain and the soccer game starting around us. I really wanted to add some depth with rim lights. But I did what I could with 15 minutes.
