Spot on. Too many photographers are concerned with bullshit branding and the latest shortcuts to fame and fortune. All so they can cultivate leagues of sycophants and followers that they can turn around and preach to about success. Fuck those guys. Fuck the “rockstar” photographer. He or she doesn’t exist and you’re a FUCKING FOOL if that’s who you’re trying to be. Popularity fades, good work doesn’t.

Last night was great. $1 PBRs and almost all of my new buds in one place. Plus great sets by Sumsun and Millionyoung. I ain’t mad.
Shot a fun event tonight that didn’t feel like work and then went out on the town with the Jolt crew after. Pedro (seen here) and John were on another level of inebriation. Incidentally, I really dig this picture. Everyone at that McDonald’s hated our guts. ‘Night.
Me on set. Standing in front of this thing is like standing in front of the sun. (Taken with instagram)
If you’re not giving photo credits you’re fucking up. This applies double when you’re a self-professed music, art, or culture blog. Pictures don’t come out of thin air any more than your words do. You should know better.
The only thing I like more than talented people is talented people with ambition. Monetary success doesn’t cheapen your art, it just puts you in a position to make more of it.
